CEOLisa is Chief Executive Officer for St John of God Accord and Group Director Community Services for St John of God Health Care, and was recently appointed to the Board of The Hauora Trust in January 2022
A registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in the public, private and corporate healthcare sectors moved into the disability sector in 2019.
A mother of three boys, one who has a significant physical and intellectual disability, her current roles enable a great pairing of her personal and professional skills. Lisa believes life is lived in the community and as such services should be safe, inclusive, accessible and of high quality.
Lisa demonstrates charismatic leadership with vision, empathy, and empowerment. Recognising compassion as a powerful force in leadership, she has a person-centred approach where the client and their family are at the centre of all her decision making. This framework also ensures that culture, under her leadership is open, transparent and positive.
Since arriving at St John of God Accord in 2019, Lisa has led the service through the COVID-19 pandemic whilst maintaining accreditation, positive caregiver satisfaction, and continuing to deliver on a housing expansion project along with other service initiatives. As Director of Community Services since 2021, Lisa is ensuring greater alignment with all St John of God Health Care’s community services.
With a recognised belief in St John of God Health Care’s Mission and Values, Lisa demonstrates Excellence, Compassion, Justice, Respect and Hospitality in all aspects of work and life.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Nursing from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma in Community Health from Monash University. Lisa is also a recipient of the inaugural scholarship from the prestigious Ministry Leadership Program at the Australian Catholic University.
