Our story

Caring for a loved one with an intellectual disability is full of joy and reward. It's also full of complexity and challenges.

Since 1953 St John of God Accord has been providing compassionate support and solutions to help clients and families build the life they deserve. Through long-term planning and guidance at every stage of life, we build personal, lasting relationships.

Our holistic approach covers physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, giving clients the chance to thrive in safe and supportive environments.

Long term support means planning for all life stages.

It's easy to focus on short term goals, and we're happy to do so but we also help families prepare for transformational stages of life such as therapy intervention strategies, post school transition, housing solutions and employment services.

We're here to make the journey run as smoothly and comfortably as possible.

Our expert NDIS capability enables us to assist clients and families to access necessary resources when times change.
