Children, young people, and adults at risk

Safeguarding commitment

St John of God Accord is committed to providing safe, respectful and inclusive services for children, young people and adults at risk.

As a registered NDIS provider, we uphold our safeguarding responsibilities through the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators, the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards, and the St John of God Health Care Child, Young Person and Adult at Risk (CYPAAR) Framework. These frameworks guide our approach to protecting the rights, safety, wellbeing and dignity of the people we support.

We are committed to preventing abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence, promoting a culture where people feel safe to speak up, and responding promptly and appropriately to concerns. Safeguarding is embedded in our governance, workforce practices, service delivery, education and continuous improvement activities.

The designated CYPAAR Representative for Accord is the Chief Executive Officer. If you have concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a child, young person or adult at risk within Accord services, please contact [email protected]
