Our commitment to building new disability housing commences with the redevelopment of Akima Terrace in Mooroolbark
Investment from St John of God Health Care that supported development and construction of ten homes on five parcels of land, throughout metropolitan Melbourne for people with a disability.
This development is a partnership between St John of God Marillac Homes, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider and St John of God Accord, Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider.
A formal blessing and turning of the soil took place at the redevelopment for our first development in Mooroolbark in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Lisa Evans, CEO along with the St John of God Accord leadership team, Robyn Gray, Fr Joseph, Mooroolbark Parish, and Adam Morgan, Project Manager, Bowden Corp Pty Ltd were in attendance.
The ceremony concluded with morning tea at a local community cafe.
