Director of Accommodation, Respite, and Infrastructure

Margaret became Director of Accommodation, Respite, and Infrastructure in July 2018. Margaret brings significant leadership to her role. With over 35 years in the disability sector her interpersonal skills, specialist knowledge and decision making guided St John of God Accord through the implementation of the National Disability Scheme. Margaret has held several leadership roles across the organisation including managing service delivery, engagement lead for clients and their families, while representing St John of God Accord at government agency and stakeholder level.

Her human connection is demonstrated across the organisation as her team’s plays to their strengths in delivering best practice. Known for improving efficiency and quality in delivering services, Margaret is compassionate about building community through diversity and inclusion.

Margaret was involved in the de-institutionalisation at DHHS and oversaw the transitioning of many people into group homes in the community.

Margaret has several formal qualifications including MRN 1985 and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management 2006.
